Bhoot: The Haunted Ship teaser – Vicky Kaushal fights off the spirits threatening to drown him

Dharma Productions' first venture into the horror genre is shaping up quite well. The production house followed the release of two posters for the Vicky Kaushal-starrer, Bhoot: The Haunted Ship, with a teaser today.

Vicky Kaushal is trapped in a dilapidated ship that is not only rusted but also infested with some strange beings. As he follows the trail of bloody impressions left by unknown hands all over the ship, they culminate in his own bloody portrait. The high-pitched eerie music in the teaser amplifies the claustrophobic effect.

Just shy of a minute, the teaser does a good job of building the suspense around the supernatural element that has taken over the ship. Directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, Bhoot: The Haunted Ship also stars Bhumi Pednekar, but the makers have kept her away from any promotional activities as of now.

The trailer for the film will be released on Monday 3 February.

Vicky Kaushal has not had a film released in a year. His last release, Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), shattered many box-office records. The actor has three releases this year, Bhoot: The Haunted Ship being the first of them, on on 21 February. Watch the teaser below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
