Shashank Ketkar to star with Sayali Sanjeev, Suvrat Joshi in Gosht Eka Paithanichi

Last month, the makers of Gosht Eka Paithanichi (2020) had revealed that Suvrat Joshi will star in the film. Now they have revealed the name of another actor who joins the cast, as popular Marathi television actor Shashank Ketkar has been selected to play an important role in the film.

Ketkar has starred in TV serials like Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi and He Mann Baware and films like One Way Ticket (2016), and Aaron (2018). 

“I had a meeting with [producer] Akshay Bardapurkar for a different project. I was sitting idle so they asked me to hear the narration of the film. Afterwards they asked me whether I would like to do the film. There was no way I was gonna say no to such script. Because of this film I got the opportunity to work with excellent star cast and really good director," the actor said in an official statement.

Gosht Eka Paithanichi is directed by Shantanu Ganesh Rode who has directed the film Jayjaykar (2014) previously. The film is produced by Bardapurkar, Piyush Singh and Abhayanand Singh.
