Jagan Shakti’s situation under control, will be undergoing surgery

Director of Mission Mangal (2019) Jagan Shakti was admitted to a Mumbai hospital yesterday after he collapsed while socializing with his friends. It was later found that he has a clot in his brain.
Actor Dalip Tahil, who was one of the cast members in Mission Mangal, confirmed the news to us, but added that his situation is better and he will be undergoing a surgery. “He has been hospitalised, but the situation is under control. They will be performing a procedure today. My prayers are with him,” he said.
Mission Mangal was Jagan’s directorial debut. The film was a fictionalized account of India’s Mars Orbiter mission (MOM). It had an ensemble cast that included Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Dalip Tahil and Vikram Gokhale.
The film had released last year on India’s Independence Day. It became a runaway success by crossing Rs200 crore mark in India itself.
There have been reports about Shakti working on his upcoming film titled Ikka for which will be also be starring Akshay but there has been no official confirmation on this. The film is said to be the official Hindi remake of AR Murogadoss’s Tamil hit Kaththi (2014) starring Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
