Abhishek Bachchan teases Bob Biswas look in new behind-the-scenes photo

Abhishek Bachchan is ready to step into to play fan favourite character Bob Biswas from Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani (2012). The actor began shooting on the project directed by first-time filmmaker Diya Annapurna Ghosh, who is Sujoy's daughter. He seems to have transformed his look with a wig and glasses to play the assassin for hire.

The behind-the-scenes photo also comes with an announcement that actress Chitrangda Singh is part of the cast of the crime thriller. Earlier in the day, Bachchan also shared two accessories from his first day on the shoot - an old Motorola flip phone with a pair of glasses. He simply captioned the photograph, "Nomoshkar!", his character, Bob's, signature phrase, uttered before he murdered his targets.

Bachchan has a busy 2020 lined up with three movie projects and two web-series. Besides Bob Biswas, he is part of Anurag Basu's Ludo and Kookie Gulati's The Big Bull which are due to release this year. He will also be a part of two Amazon Prime series - he is cast in the second season of Breathe with Amit Sadh and Nitya Menen, and Sons of Soil: Jaipur Pink Panthers, a docu-series which follows the kabaddi team owned by Bachchan.

Bob Biswas, which is produced by Gauri Khan, Sujoy Ghosh and Gaurav Verma, is yet to announce a release date.
