Choricha Mamla song ‘Album Kaadhaal Kay’: Amruta Khanvilkar asks Hemant Dhome to launch her album in this peppy track

The first song from the madcap comedy Choricha Mamla is a glamorous, peppy number that features Amruta Khanvilkar in a short, shimmering, deep-cut dress trying to persuade Hemant Dhome to launch a new song album for her.
The first thing that strikes you while watching this dance number is the unimaginative cinematography. The song is another victim of the epidemic called overuse of lights used to create a nightclub effect. The flare effect created by using a backlight is especially irritating and distracts from the dance.
On the positive side, Amruta Khanvilkar looks graceful even while performing typical 'item-number' steps. She is quite expressive in the song. Shalmali Kholgade also successfully brings out the naughtiness of the song with her vocals. Hemant Dhome has nothing to do except sit on a couch throughout the song.
The music by Chinar-Mahesh is average and has nothing new to offer. The composers have used fast rhythmic drumbeats to make the song sound more energetic than it is.
Jitendra Joshi uses a lot of social-media terminology like share, comment, TikTok, YouTube, etc, but the lyrics are quite stale otherwise.
Choricha Mamla is a madcap comedy starring an ensmble cast of Khanvilkar, Jitendra Joshi, Dhome and Aniket Vishwasrao.
Written and directed by actor-turned-director Priyadarshan Jadhav, Choricha Mamla is set for release on 31 January. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
