Vikun Taak song 'Dadacha Lagin': Shivraj Waichal is ready to get married in this wedding number

Nandesh Umap lifts this average tune with his energetic and quirky singing.

In every Indian family a wedding is the most celebrated festival with relatives gathering under one roof forgetting any animosities among them. In this new song 'Dadacha Lagin' from Sameer Patil’s Vikun Taak, we get to see the same.

The song begins with family members hard at the prenuptial preparations. The centre of attraction is, of course, the groom, played by Shivraj Waichal.

The song perfectly captures the euphoria among family members when there is a wedding in the house. The realistic production design helps you connect with the setting. Almost every actor and actress gets his or her moment to shine and they don’t waste the opportunity.

The song has been sung by Nandesh Umap. Umap has a very distinctive voice that is easily identifiable, but here he masterfully tweaks it to suit the tone of the song.

The singer is in full form here. Though the tune itself is strictly average, the heavy use of percussion by composer Amitraj helps to mask this drawback. The wacky lyrics by an experienced campaigner like Guru Thakur make the song fun to listen to.
