Depression can be deadly, and often lead to wrong choices. With Gulshan Devaiah's character in Afsos, it results in fatal consequences. The actor features at the centre of the upcoming Amazon Prime web-series, set to release on the streaming platform on 17 January 2020. Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, the series is a black comedy thriller.
The trailer begins with Devaiah's suicidal Nakul lying on a railway track, wondering about the futility of his existence. But he just can't kill himself. The solution lies in an outsourced delivery service for assasins, that he approaches after losing heart. This is where the trailer goes from being dark to funny. Even as Nakul has planned his death, and chosen the manner, his counsellor (Anjali Patil) confesses having feelings for him. Now, with a reason to live, he wants to survive the assassin on his tail.
Funny, dark, and a little out of whack, the trailer promises an interesting series to watch out for with Devaiah, Patil, and Heeba Shah as the leads.
The series is backed by Amazon Prime, and will stream on the platform from 17 January 2020.
