Tahir Raj Bhasin and Amrita Puri have now joined the cast of Mahesh Bhatt's upcoming web-series. So far untitled, the series will be set in the 1970s around the world of Hindi cinema.

Earlier in the week, actress Amala Paul confirmed having 'signed on' for the project. Reportedly set in the 1970s, the film might follow the journey of an actress through the world of Hindi cinema. Sources suggest that the character may be based on the late Parveen Babi.

The series is backed by Bhatt's home production, Vishesh Films, and Jio Cinema, with director Pushpdeep Bhardwaj taking on the reins of the production.

Bhasin and Amrita Puri are the latest to join the cast, implying that the story might see a relationship triangle recreated. Bhatt has previously explored a similar story, famously in Arth (1982)

Bhasin has also been cast alongside Ranveer Singh in 83 (2020). The film, directed by Kabir Khan, will see the actor play the role of former Indian cricket captain, Sunil Gavaskar

The untitled web-series is yet to go on the floors.
