Though the first two movies in the Baaghi series had different storylines, they had a common element: lead actor Tiger Shroff battling an army of baddies all alone.
The number of bad guys in the second film, Baaghi 2 (2018), was way bigger than the number he faced in Baaghi (2016). Hence, one expects the challenge to be even bigger in Baaghi 3.
The makers have made this clear in the film’s first poster itself: Shroff will now be battling an entire nation! The poster shows a topless Shroff from behind facing three enemy tanks and a chopper in a war-torn area.
Although the makers have not named the nation in question, it is anybody’s guess. There was a scene in Baaghi 2 where a terrorist was tied to a Jeep which was being driven by Shroff. It was inspired by a real-life in Jammu & Kashmir where an army major tied a man to a Jeep and paraded him for his alleged involvement in stone-throwing.
The Baaghi 2 scene was received positively by people favouring a particular political ideology. Now with the poster of Baaghi 3 spelling it out clearly that the hero will be pitted against a nation, we can assume they will have more to cheer.
Baaghi 3 will see Shroff romancing Shraddha Kapoor, who was also cast opposite him in the first film. Baaghi 2 saw Shroff's real-life girlfriend Disha Patani being cast opposite him.
The trailer of Baaghi 3, which is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Ahmed Khan, will be released on 6 February while the film will hit theatres on 6 March.
