The Siachen Warriors: Nitesh Tiwari, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Mahaveer Jain join hands


The film will be based on the painstaking efforts of the Indian Army posted at the Siachen glacier.

Mahaveer Jain, Nitesh Tiwari and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari have joined hands as producers for their next venture, which is tentatively titled The Siachen Warriors. The film will be directed by the first-time filmmaker Sanjay Shekhar Shetty. 

The news about the film and its poster was shared by their friend Karan Johar on his official Twitter page and wrote, “Glad to announce my dear friends Mahaveer Jain, Nitesh Tiwari and Ashiwny Iyer Tiwari’s next monumental film Siachen Warriors, an incredible story of the brave warriors of our Indian army. Directed by Sanjay Shekhar Shetty and written by Piyush Gupta and Gautam Ved.” 

According to the title and the poster, the film will showcase the painstaking efforts of the Indian army based an the challenging Siachen glacier, which is located in the Himalayas where the line of control between India and Pakistan ends. The temperature over here can go as low as minus 50 degrees. 

The poster of The Siachen Warriors show four people trying to climb the mountain range. It has an inspirational line saying, “God gives his hardest battles to his bravest soldiers.” 

Shetty has been an advertisement filmmaker before. The cast of the film is currently kept under wraps and so are other details like when will it go on floors and release.
