Many Indian actors dream of working in at least one Hollywood film in their career, but a few lucky ones get to start their acting career from Hollywood. Siddharth Badve is one of those lucky ones; he has been selected to play the lead in Escape from Black Water. The action film is directed by R Ellis Frazier.
Badve started his career as an assistant director with Abbas-Mustan’s Machine (2017) and later worked on Marathi films like Hrudayantar (2017) and the upcoming film Lagna Kallol (2020).
Talking about his journey so far, Badve said, “From working as an assistant director, to now acting in a Hollywood film, this has been a thrilling journey so far. I never thought I would ever land a role in a Hollywood film."
"Sheer hard work and dedication have finally paid dividends. More than seeing myself on the big screen, I’m eager to see my parents' reaction when they see me on a big screen. I have reached here only because of Abbas-Mustan sir, Johny Lever sir, and Ellis Frazier sir’s guidance," he added.
