First schedule of Bob Biswas wraps up

The first schedule of the Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Bob Biswas (2020),wrapped up recently. Bachchan shared the news with his fans on Twitter. He also shared a photograph in which he is seen posing with the crew of the movie.

The film is a spin-off on the character of Bob Biswas, which was played by Saswata Chatterjee in Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani (2012). His cold behavior and the manner in which he greeted his victims with a namaste before killing them, became a talking point in discussons on the movie.   

A month ago Bachchan had teased fans with a faint glimpse of his look in the movie. 

The film is directed by first-time director and Sujay Ghosh’s daughter, Diya Annapurna Ghosh. She has worked as assistant director for her father on the Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Badla (2019). Bob Biswas also stars Chitrangada Singh in an important role. 

The film is produced by Gauri Khan, Sujoy Ghosh and Gaurav Verma. Its release date is yet to be announced.
