Laal Singh Chadha poster: Kareena Kapoor Khan gives Aamir Khan a warm embrace on Valentine’s Day

Kareena Kapoor Khan came on board Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chadha (2020) last year. This is the third time that the two will be working together after Reema Kagti’s Talaash (2012) and Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots (2009). Khan shared the first glimpse of the actress from the movie in a new poster on the ocassion of Valentine’s Day. 

The poster shows Kareena Kapoor Khan warmly embracing Khan's character, her love for him clearly evident on her face. Khan's face is not visible in the poster.  

The actor shared the picture on his official Twitter page and added a naughty message, which said, “Happy Valentine’s Day Kareena. I wish I could romance you in every film. Comes naturally to me. Love.” 

He also shared an Urdu couplet, which translates into, “The anxiety of having someone, and then the fear of losing them, sums up the journey of life." 

Interestingly, Laal Singh Chadha was the first time that Kareena Kapoor Khan auditioned for a film. While speaking about it during an interview for her film Good Newwz (2019), she had said, “I say it even now, that I would never audition. In the last 20 years, nobody has ever told me, ‘Read these two scenes’. I think even for a Hollywood studio I would not have auditioned. I have auditioned only for Aamir Khan.” 

Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is the official remake of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump (1994). It is set to be released during Christmas this year.
