Soukarya Ghosal's Rawkto Rawhoshyo to release on 10 April: See poster

Soukarya Ghosal’s upcoming film Rawkto Rawhoshyo (2020) is due to be released on 10 April. Presenter Surinder Films made the announcement with the launch of a teaser poster of the emotional thriller.

Rawkto Rawhoshyo features Koel Mallick in the lead and actors Chandan Roy Sanyal, Rwitobroto Mukherjee and actress Lily Chakraborty in crucial roles.

Ghosal, who won the hearts with his debut film Rainbow Jelly in 2018, is all set to present a film in a completely different genre. Rawkto Rawhoshyo revolves around the journey of RJ Swarnaja, played by Mallick, who receives a call from a stranger on her live show, that eventually pushes her to find out a hidden truth of her life.

The abundance of red in the poster, the motifs of syringes and blood cells with Swarnaja running in the foreground hint to the mystery behind her life which could be related to some medical issue. Or, the motifs can be entirely symbolical that refers to the significance of blood (rawkto) in her personal journey.

Then there are motifs of guns, which assures the thriller element in the film too. The teaser poster adds to the mystery intrigued by the title itself.
