The film is produced by Ajay Devgn and Kookie Gulati.

The first poster of the Abhishek Bachchan-starrer The Big Bull (2020) had the actor hidden in the shadows. In the latest poster of the film, the actor has broken out of the shadows with confidence.

Bachchan’s character is showing no qualms in hiding the fact that he is filthy rich. Hence, he is seen wearing a well-made suit that looks expensive along with some stylish sunglasses. Unlike most of his films, he is sporting a moustache here. His expression and eyes, which are faintly visible behind the glasses, speak out that he only means business.

Directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn and Anand Pandit, The Big Bull is said to be inspired from the life of the stock trader Harshad Mehta, who was involved in various stock market scams in the 1990s.

Interestingly, filmmaker Hansal Mehta is also adapting Harshad Mehta’s life into a web-series Scam 1992. Last year, the Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte-starrer Baazaar (2018) was also based on stock market scams.

Bachahan’s last film where he played the solo lead was Umesh Shukla’s All Is Well (2015). This year, he will also star in Bob Biwas (2020) where he is playing the central character.

The Big Bull, which also features Ileana D'Cruz and Sohum Shah, is due to be released on 23 October.
