While the first song from Ibhrat (2020) was a romantic track featuring both leads, this new song features actress Shilpa Thakre. She is seen wandering around, enjoying moments alone in nature. She dances in the fields, enjoying her solitude on the river bank.
The first thing you notice about the song are the picturesque locations. The lush greenery, the free-flowing water in river gives you a sense of calmness. 'Mi Bavari Bavari' is a solo song by Bela Shende. The singer hasn't been singing as frequently as she used, but it feels good to hear her soothing voice. Shende completely owns the song with her flawless singing.
The composition by Baban Adagale and Ashok Kamble also gives Shende the opportunity to showcase her singing skills. The flute and the santoor enhance the overall impact of the song.
Sanjay Navgire's lyrics are simple and understandable. He has also made sure that the lyrics go in sync with the time period the film is set in. The way ' 'Mi Bavari Bavari' is shot and composed, reminds you at times of 'Man Ranaat Gela Ga' from Jogwa (2009).
Ibhrat is directed by first-time filmmaker Pravin Kshirsagar. Interestingly, the story is based on the novel Avadi by renowned folk musician and poet Anna Bhau Sathe.
The film is due to be released on 21 February. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
