It was quite evident from the poster that the story of Basta (2020) will revolve around a wedding. Now the makers have released the first song which works as a precursor to that wedding. The song captures the sweet montages of the leads Sayali Sanjeev and Akshay Tanksale enjoying some romantic moments in the fields. They look like they are genuinely in love.

Ajay Gogavale takes centerstage with his singing and smartly tweaks his rugged voice to suit this sweet romantic track. He is ably supported by singer Dipali Sathe. Though most of the singing is done by Ajay Gogavale, Sathe manages to leave her mark with her smooth voice.

Santosh Mulekar has composed a soothing tune. The use of acoustic guitar and violin goes perfectly with the composition.

The lyrics by Mangesh Kangane are also praiseworthy. They are written in small-town dialect, and he has maintained that dialect throughout the song. This is Sayali Sanjeev's fourth film in the last three months, and looking at the list of her upcoming films actress is literally on a working spree.

Basta is directed by Tanaji Ghadge and scheduled to release on 2 April. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
