Vikram Gokhale's AB Ani CD gets a release date

Last year, during the Ganeshotsav celebrations, the makers of AB Ani CD had unveiled its first poster. In the poster, Vikram Gokhale was seen donning Amitabh Bachchan's get-up from the hit Yaarana (1981) song 'Sara Zamaana Haseenon Ka Deewana'.

As the first poster was released, there was heightened curiosity about the film and its subject for a while. Now, after a gap of five months, the makers have unveiled the film's second poster along with the release date. AB Ani CD is slated for release on 13 March.

The poster shows Amitabh Bachchan and Vikram Gokhale in the foreground with an old-age home in the background. The poster was unveiled at Aurangabad International Film Festival 2020.

AB Ani CD is directed by Milind Lele and features Bachchan in a special role. This is only the second time the veteran is appearing in a Marathi film after Akka (1994), where he and wife Jaya Bachchan appeared in the song ‘Tu Jagati Adhipati'.

AB Ani CD also features Subodh Bhave, Sayali Sanjeev, Akshay Tanksale, Sharvari Lohokare, Neena Kulkarni, Lokesh Gupte and Seema Deshmukh in important roles.

AB Ani CD has been produced by Akshay Vilas Bardapurkar, Planet Marathi and Golden Ratio Films.
