Om: The Battle Within first look – Aditya Roy Kapur arms himself as the war begins

Right after Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi began shooting for Om: The Battle Within, the makers of the film released an intense first look. Featuring Roy Kapur's protagonist walking into the frame, armed with a machine-gun, the image looks like a scene out of a video game. 

The poster does seem like a throwback to producer Ahmed Khan's own Baaghi 3 (2020) in terms of the portrayal of its solo hero. Roy Kapur's protagonist does have the same vibes of a man preparing to take on the world all alone.

The film will feature Sanghi opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. The film also marks the directorial debut of veteran action director Tinnu Verma's son Kapil.

Ahmed Khan had revealed that the film would tackle the emotionally disturbed relationships of those in the line of duty.

Om: The Battle Within was announced on Aditya Roy Kapur's birthday on 16 November. The film is backed by Zee Studios and Ahmed Khan's Paperdoll Entertainment. Om: The Battle Within is scheduled for a summer 2021 release.
