The film is set in Jammu & Kashmir and deals with the journey of a boy who sets out to combat and eradicate hatred.

Television and film actor Hiten Tejwani’s next Hindi movie, titled Nobel Peace, is based on the troubles in Jammu & Kashmir. The film is ready and will be taking the OTT (over-the-top) route for release. Produced by Kala Niketan Entertainment, the film is written and directed by Astik Dalal.
Sharing the plot of the film, a statement from the makers said, “Nobel Peace is about the journey of a young boy Hayan Mir (Mudasir Zafar) under the able guidance of college professor Shlok Manhaas (Tejwani) to eradicate hatred from the hearts of religiously biased individuals and to bring peace in society.”
Speaking about the film, OP Rai, managing director of Kala Niketan Entertainment, said, “We were discussing this story for a year. It has been 30 years in the industry [for us] so there was a desire to make unique content in accordance with film festivals. The idea is very relevant and realistic. This film is specially made to focus on the social issues which the youth over there deals with.”
Tejwani said the film was shot on location. “I heard the script of Nobel Peace and the credit goes to the producers of Kala Niketan, OP Rai, Alok Rai and Aina Rai, and also to the director. It was amazing working with them and really encouraging of them to opt for a subject like this. It was exciting as we were shooting in real locations and travelling every day,” he said.
