Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjana Sanghi begin shooting for Om: The Battle Within

Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi, who have been paired for the first time, began shooting on Thursday for their next film Om: The Battle Within. The action thriller, directed by Kapil Verma, is due to be shot across three cities in India.

The team got together for the feature’s mahurat shot and celebrated the occasion with a cake. The film was announced last month on the lead actor's 35th birthday. Sanghi was announced as the lead actress a week later.

The film marks the directorial debut of Verma, son of action director Tinu Verma. Om: The Battle Within is being jointly produced by Zee Studios and choreographer-turned-filmmaker Ahmed Khan’s banner Paperdoll Entertainment.

The action film is due to be released in summer 2021.
