The actress tested positive for the virus on 22 December when she was shooting for the Ajay Devgn film Mayday.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who tested positive for COVID-19 on 22 December, has said that she is now free of the virus.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, she wrote, “Happy to share that I have tested negative for COVID-19. I am feeling absolutely fine. Thank you for all your wishes and love. Can’t wait to start 2021 with good health and positivity. PS: Let’s be responsible, wear masks and take all precautions.”

Singh was shooting for the film Mayday when she tested positive for the coronavirus. The film, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, is being directed by Ajay Devgn, who also plays the pivotal role of a pilot.
This is the first time Singh will be acting alongside Bachchan. She has worked with Devgn in the romantic comedy De De Pyaar De (2019). The actress has another film in the pipeline with Devgn. Directed by Indra Kumar, the untitled project also stars Sidharth Malhotra.
