Avi Mitra to begin shooting Soti R Phirbe Na from second week of December

Poster designer Avi Mitra is all set to shoot his first feature film, a crime thriller titled Soti R Phirbe Na, from the second week of December.
Mitra is known for designing the posters of Hindi films such as Newton (2017), Munna Michael (2017) and Babumoshai Bandookbaaz (2017) as well as Bengali films such as Khoka 420 (2013), Kanamachi (2013), Khiladi (2013) and Hero 420 (2016).
Soti R Phirbe Na features Jammy Banerjee, who played a crucial role in the Zee5 web-series Lalbazaar, and Sourav Bittu, who has appeared in Uma (2018), Haami (2018) and Bibaho Obhijaan (2019).
The plot revolves around a strange kidnapping racket in the village of Chandipur where newborns have been going missing within an hour of their birth. The police finally begin to counter the menace after one Yuva Neta's infant is abducted. As his superior is on leave, sub-inspector Mainak Banerjee takes up the case and is assisted by a detective named Keshav.
The film has been written by Tarasree Ghosh and it will be shot by Chayan Karmokar.
