Amazon Prime Video tweeted a picture referencing the last season's cliffhanger ending on Tuesday.

The second season of director duo Raj and DK’s Hindi web-series The Family Man will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from 12 February 2021.

The makers announced the new season on Tuesday via an interesting still from the show in which no actors are seen. Referring to the last season's cliffhanger ending, the still depicts a bomb with a timer and the tools required to diffuse it. Amazon Prime Video shared the picture on Twitter, which was captioned, “Don't know about the timer here, but we're exploding with excitement.”

The first season of The Family Man revolved around Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) who, unknown to his wife (Priyamani) and kids, works for an intelligence agency that specializes in neutralizing terror attacks. The show is about how Srikant and his colleague and best friend JK Talpade (Sharib Hashmi) go about their dangerous tasks.

The first season also starred Shreya Dhanwanthary and Neeraj Madhav in the roles of intelligence officer Zoya and terrorist Moosa Rahman respectively.

Southern superstar Samantha Akkineni, whose character is being kept under wraps, is the addition to the cast.
