The actress and Nav Bajwa play the leads in the recently announced film.

Actress Ameesha Patel will star opposite actor Nav Bajwa in the Punjabi film Fauji Band.
Bajwa recently shared the film's first look poster on Instagram. Besides playing the male lead, he is also the writer and director of the project, which will feature Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, Hobby Dhaliwal and Parvinder Singh.
Bajwa made his acting and directorial debut in Pure Punjabi (2012) and Raduaa (2018) respectively.
The film will be shot by cinematographer Gifty Kang and feature music by Ullumanati.
Featuring a skeleton dressed as a member of a brass band, with musical instruments lying around, the movie poster is colourful and curious. The word ‘fauji’ refers to an army man, so one can assume that the story revolves around a member of a military band.
Patel has several projects in the pipeline and was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhit (2018) directed by Neerraj Pathak.
