Sonam Kapoor Ahuja set to begin work on Hindi adaptation of Korean thriller Blind

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is set to begin work on her first thriller, Shome Makhija's Blind.
The film, an adaptation of the 2011 Korean thriller of the same name, will be shot in Glasgow, Scotland from start to finish.
Kapoor Ahuja has been on an extended break due to the COVID-19-induced lockdown. The actress had a small part as an exaggerated version of herself in Vikramaditya Motwane's Netflix film AK vs AK (2020).

Blind, which is scheduled to be released in 2021, revolves around a visually impaired police officer who attempts to capture a serial killer. The film will feature Lilette Dubey, Vinay Pathak and Purab Kohli.
The original film's lead actress, Kim Ha-neul, won the Best Actress Award for her portrayal of the character at the 38th Golden Bell Awards, the Korean equivalent of the Academy Awards.
The film is being produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh and Manisha W., Pinkesh Nahar and Sachin Nahar, and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim.
