Kamble was an assistant director on Mahaguru (2014), starring Ajinkya Deo.
The makers have released the first poster of the movie, although the cast is being kept under wraps.
The poster shows a young, college-going youth with a backpack staring at an unusual dartboard over which various objects such as a rocket, tools, a gun, a guitar, a microscope and stethoscope have been superimposed.
Amol Kagne Films has presented a number of well-received Marathi films over the years such as Halal (2017), Lathe Joshi (2018), Perfume (2019) and Vajvuya Band Baja (2020), which was released in theatres recently.
Kagne will be seen in the upcoming films Bhonga and Monsoon Football.
Befaam is expected to be released in 2021.
