Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui wrapped up in two months

The shooting of the Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui was wrapped up on Monday 21 December in two months flat.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, this is one of the few Hindi films to be shot entirely during the COVID-19 pandemic. The film had gone on the floor on 21 October.
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is produced by Kapoor and his wife Pragya’s banner Guy In The Sky Pictures and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
Speaking about the experience, Pragya Kapoor said in a statement, “It’s teamwork and I’m immensely grateful to our unit for helping us achieve this. The new normal definitely has got the best out of us within a short span of time. We are happy to become one of the first Indian films to pull this off. It has not been easy, but together we made it happen.”
Bhushan Kumar was happy the film created employment opportunities. “I am grateful that we have completed the shoot so rapidly, having kept all the safety and health protocols in place," the T-Series boss said. "This has also given an opportunity for people working in this industry to be back at work. We are glad that our efforts were laid down successfully. My wishes to the entire team of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.”
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui stars Vaani Kapoor opposite Khurrana who plays a cross-functional athlete.
