Rajkumar Santoshi to helm web-series produced by Dinesh, Mahaveer Jain

Hindi filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi will be directing a seven-episode web-series based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Change Within’ initiative that was launched this year on October 2 on Gandhi Jayanti.
The show will be jointly produced by Mahaveer and Dinesh Vijan.
The news was shared by veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Twitter. “Big news. Rajkumar Santoshi, Dinesh Vijan and Mahaveer Jain join hands. Announce seven-episode series that will highlight valour, values and culture of India. Part of Change Within initiative launched by film fraternity in 2019. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mahaveer Jain (sic),” he said.

The subject of the series is currently being kept under wraps.
The last Santoshi film to be released was Phata Poster Nikla Hero (2013), which starred Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz. The filmmaker has been helming Bad Boy starring Mithun Chakraborty’s son Namashi and actress Amrin Qureshi.
