Raj Thackeray claps muhurat shot of Sushrut Bhagwat's 8 Don 75


The film, which stars Shubhankar Tawade and Sanskruti Balgude, is being shot in Pune.

The makers of the unusually titled Marathi movie 8 Don 75 commenced shooting for the project in Pune on 19 December. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray was present on the sets and clapped the auspicious muhurat shot, marking the commencement of the principal photography.

The film stars Shubhankar Tawade and Sanskruti Balgude and features Sharvani Pillai, Sanjay Mone, Anand Ingle, Vijay Patwardhan, Chinmay Sant and Nikhil Rajeshirke. 

The film is being directed by Sushrut Bhagwat, who has helmed projects such as  A Paying Ghost (2015), Mumbai Time (2016) and Asehi Ekda Vhave (2018).

He has also co-written the film along with Pillai. The film's music has been composed by Avadhoot Gupte and the lyrics are by Vaibhav Joshi.

The film is being backed by the production house Udaharnarth Nirmit, which has produced Kaagar (2019).
