Mahesh Manjrekar’s Antim: The Final Truth is the Hindi remake of the acclaimed Marathi movie Mulshi Pattern (2018), which was directed by Pravin Tarde. The original saw Om Bhutkar play the lead character, a rustic youngster, while the Hindi version will see Aayush Sharma essaying that role.
Ever since the project was announced, there was a great deal of curiosity regarding Sharma's physical transformation for the gritty role.
The teaser-like first look of the film, which was released on Monday, sees a beefed-up Sharma charging towards a shirtless Salman Khan, who plays a Sikh police officer.
Sharma, with his toned body and unbridled aggression, is a far cry from the lover boy he played in his first film, Loveyatri (2018).
Like Sharma's previous movie, this film is produced by Khan’s banner Salman Khan Films. The original movie saw Upendra Limaye play Khan's character while Manjrekar was seen in the supporting role of a labourer in the Marathi film.
