Remo D'Souza discharged from hospital, thanks fans for 'love and prayers'

The choreographer and filmmaker had been admitted to the Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai after suffering a heart attack on 11 December.

Choreographer and filmmaker Remo D’Souza has been discharged from hospital. He had been admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, after suffering a heart attack on 11 December.

Late yesterday, D'Souza took to Instagram to share an update for fans and attached a short video of himself, surrounded by balloons, giving a thumbs up to the camera.

Soon after he posted the video, a lot of celebrities dropped sweet comments and welcomed the filmmaker back. Tiger Shroff wrote, “Time to come back stronger than ever” while Varun Dhawan dropped a heart emoji on the post.

Shraddha Kapoor called him “Warrior Remo sir.”  Choreographer Terence Lewis wrote, “This made my day! So happy to see you safe home with your loved ones! Stay blessed and I'm coming to meet you as soon as I'm back in the bay!"

“So happy you are home. Stay blessed, stay strong, stay healthy, stay happy always... live life Remo size!” wrote Geeta Kapur.

D'Souza's wife, Lizelle, had been sharing updates from the hospital. Thanking fans for their support, she shared a video of her husband dancing in the hospital room.
