When the film was announced last month, it was described as a “thrilling, absolute edge-of-the-seat human-drama.”
The film sees Devgn play a pilot while Bachchan and Singh's characters are being kept under wraps.
Mayday sees Devgn's return to the director’s chair after Shivaay (2016). This is his seventh collaboration with Bachchan as an actor after Major Saab (1998), Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999), Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahin (2002), Khakee (2004), Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag (2007) and Satyagraha (2013).
Just recently, the makers had announced that actress Angira Dhar would be joining the cast.
