Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal shoot begins with pooja, see pics

Filmmaker Vignesh Shivn’s upcoming Tamil romantic comedy Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni, was officially launched on Thursday with a pooja.

The project's producers tweeted a few photos of the ceremony.

The launch ceremony was attended by Vignesh, Vijay and producer Lalit Kumar of the Seven Screen Studio banner.

The project marks the reunion of Vignesh, Vijay and Nayanthara after their previous outing, Naanum Rowdydhaan (2015). Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal will also see Vijay performing alongside Samantha. Though the artistes were part of last year’s critically-acclaimed Tamil film Super Deluxe, they didn’t share any scenes.

The film, Vignesh’s fourth outing as a director, will feature music by Anirudh Ravichander.

The helmer had recently directed a segment for Netflix India’s upcoming Tamil anthology Paava Kadhaigal (2020). Vignesh’s segment, which stars Kalki Koechlin and Anjali, explores the topic of same-sex love.
