Srijato, Subhamita, Joy Sarkar collaborate with Asha Audio to pay tribute to Tagore


Subhamita and Srijato had previously paired up for Ghalibnama, an album with six ghazals, which turned out to be a great success.

Asha Audio Company has launched the single album Shraboner Baish Tarikhe with vocalist Subhamita Banerjee and poet, author and lyricist Srijato to pay tribute to Rabindranath Tagore’s 79th death anniversary today.

The music of the album has been arranged by Joy Sarkar. Banerjee has rendered song 'E Pothe Ami Je', with a poetry written and recited by Srijato.

Subhamita and Srijato had previously paired up for Ghalibnama, an album with six ghazals, which turned out to be a great success.

“Last year we launched the first Tagore’s song, ‘Dariye Acho Tumi’ with Subhamita, which was a huge success,"Asha Audio's Apeksha Lahiri stated. The song had over seven million views.

“This time Subhamita is back in collaboration with Srijato and Joy Sarkar with Tagore’s song. ‘E Pothe Ami Je’ will be unplugged with a completely different arrangement, comprising with a poetry written by Srijato. We hope that our listeners will also love this song," she added.
