Sharan Sharma, director of the forthcoming Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020), took to Instagram yesterday to thank Hollywood stunt coordinator Marc Wolff for being part of the film's team.
“It was a complete honor and privilege to work with the legendary stunt and aerial coordinator Marc Wolff and his fantastic team, Adam, Giles, Stephen & Basil," the filmmaker wrote. "Marc has worked on films like Mission Impossible, Star Wars, Black Hawk Down and many many more. Thank you, Marc, for being a part of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.”
Marc Wolff has worked on more than 160 films and is best known for films like Skyfall (2012), Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018).
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020) is the biopic of the first woman officer of the Indian Air Force to fly into a combat zone during the 1999 Kargil war with Pakistan.
The film stars Janhvi Kapoor in the titular role. Written and directed by Sharan Sharma, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi as Gunjan's father and brother, respectively.
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is due to be streamed on Netflix from 12 August.
