Coronavirus update: Koel Mallick, father Ranjit Mallick, family recover from COVID-19

Actress Koel Mallick has tweeted that she and the rest of her family members have recovered completely from COVID-19 and tested negative.

The actress, her father and veteran actor Ranjit Mallick, mother Deepa Mallick and husband and producer Nispal Singh had tested positive for the disease on 10 July.

While Nispal Singh was the first to develop symptoms of fever and cough, the others too got them quickly. They immediately got themselves tested for COVID-19 and following the positive result quarantined themselves at home

Mallick thanked her fans for praying for their recovery and sent them good wishes on social media.

Mallick, who had a baby boy in May, assured fans that he is in good health. Her film Rawkto Rawhosyo, directed by Soukarya Ghosal, was due for release that month but the pandemic intervened.
