Gippy Grewal announces release dates of Manje Bistre 3, Maa, Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi

Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal has announced the release dates of his next three Punjabi films which are being produced by his production house, Humble Motion Pictures. The star gave his fans a big surprise when he shared the news on Twitter.

All three films will hit the theatres next year. Manje Bistre 3 will be released on 9 April, Maa will be releasing on Mother's Day, 7 May, while the third film, Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi will be out in theatres on 16 July.

The first film in the Manje Bistre franchise was released in 2017 and the second in 2019. All three films have been directed by Baljit Singh Deo.

The third film in the series was announced in 2019 itself, when Grewal invited his fans to make a trailer for his film Manje Bistre 2, which should include the kind of things that they wanted to watch in the film. The makers of the trailer that got the most views would be launched in Manje Bistre 3. One will have to wait and watch if that holds true when the film is released next year.

The next release, Maa, starring Divya Dutta, will of course, revolve around the theme of mothers and motherhood. The film was originally slated for a 2020 release but has been postponed due to the pandemic. Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi, directed by Smeep Kang, was also scheduled to be released this year.

Grewal has been very active in pushing for the shooting of Punjabi films to resume and hopefully his fans will get to watch him on the big screen soon.
