Vijay Deverakonda to reunite with Arjun Reddy director for a web-series

Actor Vijay Deverakonda and his brother Anand Deverakonda are all set to join hands with Arjun Reddy (2017) director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a yet-untitled web-series. According to report by the digital news platform, The News Minute, the series will be written by Vanga and directed by KVR Mahendra, who also helmed Anand’s maiden film Dorasaani (2019).    

The show will be produced by Vijay for a leading OTT player. Recent reports suggested that the actor has already pitched the idea to Aha, the new streaming platform for Geetha Arts.

The actor, who rose to fame with Vanga's Arjun Reddy, will be next seen in Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming Telugu-Hindi bilingual actioner Fighter. Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta will distribute the film in Hindi. The actor also has a yet-untitled Telugu project with filmmaker Indraganti Mohan Krishna in the pipeline, which will be produced by Dil Raju.

Vijay’s last release was World Famous Lover (2020), in which he played a writer. The film, which bombed at the box-office, also starred Raashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh and Catherine Tresa in key roles.
