Chiranjeevi turn 65: Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR wish the veteran


Several celebrities from Telugu cinema took to Twitter to wish Chiranjeevi on his birthday. His fans have been making the hashtag ‘HBD Megastar Chiranjeevi’ trend since yesterday.

Film stars such as Jr NTR, Rana Daggubati and Allu Arjun were among the celebrities from Telugu cinema who took to Twitter today to wish veteran Chiranjeevi on his sixty-fifth birthday.

The actor’s fans have been trending the hashtag ‘HBD Megastar Chiranjeevi’ since yesterday.

“Wishing the megastar Chiranjeevi garu a Very Happy Birthday. May you celebrate many such joyous birthdays in the years to come, sir,” Jr NTR tweeted.

Rana Daggubati wrote: “Happy birthday, sir! Have the best one.” He also shared a picture of himself with Chiranjeevi.

Allu Arjun wrote: “Many many happy returns of the day to our one and only megastar. My heart is always filled with respect, love and gratitude. My true Acharya in many ways.”

Mahesh Babu tweeted: “Wishing you a very Happy Birthday, Chiranjeevi garu! You've been an inspiration to an entire generation and will continue to be! Great health and happiness to you always.”

Varun Tej tweeted: “Happy birthday megastar! I feel so lucky and blessed to have you by my side. Thank you so much for inspiring me and a lot more. Love you to the moon and back! My Acharya.”

Sai Dharam Tej wrote: “The movies he made make him a megastar of cinema. The way he showers love and compassion, the way he takes care and organizes his family, the way he shows his concern towards society makes him the numero uno megastar for me.”

On the career front, Chiranjeevi will be seen next on the big screen screen in the Telugu film Acharya. According to reports, Acharya is about a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the endowments department over the misappropriation and embezzlement of temple funds and donations.

Acharya marks the maiden collaboration of Chiranjeevi and director Koratala Siva, best known for helming films like Mirchi (2013), starring Prabhas; Srimanthudu (2015), starring Mahesh Babu; Janatha Garage (2016), starring Jr NTR; and Bharat Ane Nenu (2018), starring Mahesh Babu once again.
