Zee5 to premiere spy thriller London Confidential on 18 September

Zee5 has announced the release date for the spy thriller London Confidential. The film is set to be premiered on the streaming platform on 18 September.

London Confidential is a spy thriller starring Purab Kohli, Kulraj Randhawa and Mouni Roy.

The film is set amid a series of brutal killings of Indian agents in London and shows how Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) officers played by Kohli, Roy and Randhawa come together and expose a mole within the ranks and also stumble upon a groundbreaking conspiracy.

Talking about his role, Kohli said in a press release, "I'm excited about my role as Arjun, a RAW agent, and I look forward to what people feel about seeing me in this new avatar."

The actor praised co-star Roy: “Mouni is amazing. I’ve always thought so from when we worked together way back in 2014. I love the fire that shines from this Bengal beauty. I feel all her millions of fans are in for a treat when they see her in this one."

Roy was equally thrilled to work with Kohli and said, "Purab is a thorough gentleman and an absolute rockstar. We had such a fun time shooting all the scenes together. He has been one of my favourite people since we worked together in 2014."

London Confidential is the first Indian OTT film to be shot in London after the pandemic-induced lockdown. "It was a very challenging experience and great learning to shoot in these difficult times, but at the same time it was a joy to work with a wonderful team," director Sethi said.

London Confidential also stars Sagar Arya, Parvesh Rana, Jas Binag, Diljohn Singh and Kiren Jogi.
