The world-famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot returns to solve one more mystery in the upcoming film Death On The Nile (2020).
Kenneth Branagh is back as director and master sleuth Poirot in this latest adaptation of the Christie novel. He previously played the character in Murder On The Orient Express (2017).
In the trailer, Ali Fazal joins an ensemble cast that includes Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Annette Bening, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Letitia Wright, Sophie Okonedo, Tom Bateman, Emma Mackey, Rose Leslie, and Russell Brand. Fazal plays Andrew Katchadourian, one of the many suspects in the murder that takes place on the steamer that goes down the Nile river in Egypt.
The film was shot in England and on location in Egypt last year. This marks the third adaptation of the 1937 Christie novel. It was previously made into the 1978 feature with Peter Ustinov as Poirot and in 2004, it was adapted for television with David Suchet as the Belgian detective.
The murder mystery is expected to be released in theatres by Disney on 23 October.
