Priyanka Chopra Jonas's production house Purple Pebble Pictures has teamed up with Blumhouse Films to produce Evil Eye for Amazon Prime Video this October. The actress will serve as executive producer on the project.
The film, directed by Elan Dassani and Rajeev Dassani, is based on playwright Madhuri Shekar's Audible original production. It features Sarita Choudhury, Sunita Mani, Omar Maskati and Bernard White.

Evil Eye's story is a romance that turns sinister when a mother is convinced her daughter’s new boyfriend has a dark connection to her own past.
Evil Eye is one of four productions that will be part of the 'Welcome to the Blumhouse' section on Amazon Prime in October. The other three films, Nocturne, Black Box and The Lie, with Evil Eye will be released as an anthology. Another four films will be released in 2021.
