Niharika Konidela gets engaged; Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan attend ceremony

Actress Niharika Konidela, who has worked in Telugu films like Oka Manasu (2016) and Happy Wedding (2018), got engaged to Chaitanya Jonnalagadda on Wednesday The ceremony was attended by close family members of the couple.

Chiranjeevi, who is Niharika’s uncle, also attended the engagement along with actors Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, her cousins. Niharika is actor Varun Tej's sister.

In June, Niharika had teased her fans by sharing pictures of her boyfriend on her Instagram page. In two different posts, Niharika had shared pictures of Chaitanya, who is the son of Guntur’s Inspector General of Police (IG), J Prabhakar Rao.

Chaitanya is an alumuni of BITS Pilani and the Indian School of Business (ISB), and works as a business strategist in a leading MNC in Hyderabad, say reports.

Talking to the daily, The Times of India, Niharika had said: “Yes, I have found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. We are not engaged officially yet and my social media post was to just officially announce that I’m taken. Naturally, I’m thrilled right now.” 

According to reports, the wedding is expected to take place later this year.
