Diljit Dosanjh's latest song 'Clash' garners more than 10 million views

The song is part of the Punjabi singer and actor's latest album G.O.A.T, which has made it to the billboards of Times Square, New York.

The Punjabi music industry has been on a roll during the pandemic, with singers Diljit Dosanjh, Jazzy B and Gippy Grewal releasing their songs and music videos in quick succession. The latest music video to be released is Dosanjh's 'Clash' from his recently released music album G.O.A.T.

The album has also made it to the billboards of Times Square, New York, which is a source of great pride and excitement for the Punjabi singer and actor, who enjoys a huge following in Canada and the United States.

Directed by Rahul Dutta, the lyrics of the song are by Raj Ranjodh and the music has been composed by The Kidd. The song has already raked in more than 10 million views on YouTube and is sure to increase those numbers significantly in the coming days.

The video chronicles the love between singer and a girl (Komal Basran), which begins when a gun-toting Dosanjh rescues her from some goons. Like most Punjabi music videos, this one too includes flashy cars and clothes along with perfect, scenic locales and a dapper Dosanjh in the midst of it all with his inimitable swagger.

Basran doesn't have much to do except look good and is rather expressionless. In fact, in line with the machismo that underlines Punjabi culture, the song is all about how people get beaten up and mangled when they ‘Clash’ with a Jat!

Always entertaining his fans with a laugh, Dosanjh’s video about trying to get Amazon’s Alexa to play 'Clash' has also gone viral, with fans rolling in laughter at the actor’s responses.
