Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan are expecting their second child

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan will soon be a family of four. The couple officially announced that they are expecting their second child today. 

The official press statement said: "We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support. Love Saif and Kareena."

The couple were married in a private ceremony in Mumbai on 16 October 2012. Their son Taimur Ali Khan, a paparazzi darling, was born on 20 December 2016.

Khan has two children, Sara and Ibrahim, from his first wife Amrita Singh. Coincidentally, it is also his daughter Sara's 25th birthday today.

Kareena will next be seen in the Forrest Gump (1994) remake, Laal Singh Chaddha (2021), co-starring Aamir Khan, which has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Khan has a political web-series on Amazon Prime as well as the movies Bhoot Police (2020) and Bunty Aur Babli 2 (2020) lined up for release.
