Khuda Haafiz song ‘Mera Intezaar Karna’: Vidyut Jammwal is on his way to rescue his wife

The song ‘Mera Intezaar Karna’ from Khuda Haafiz is the first collaboration between music composer Mithoon and singer Armaan Malik. The singer has succeeded in portraying the emotions of Vidyut Jammwal’s character Sameer who badly misses his wife Nargis (Shivaleeka Oberoi). 

Mithoon has used both low pitch and high pitch sounds to change the moods of the song. Doing double duty as lyricist, his words describe both pain and hope through simple poetry. 

Khuda Haafiz is based in 2008 and tells the story of a simple couple, played by Jammwal and Oberoi. Nargis gets an opportunity to earn a good amount by working in an Middle-Eastern country just for few days. She grabs the chance to improve their financial condition. 

But once Nargis lands there, she realizes she has been sold in the flesh trade. She somehow informs her husband about her ordeal. Sameer vows to battle all odds to free his wife. 

‘Mera Intezaar Karna’ shows visuals of Sameer traveling through various places to reach his wife. Oberoi, on the other hand, sits captured, but displays hope through her expressions. The visuals are intersected with flashes of the happier times spent by the couple.
