Last year, well-known choreographer Bosco Leslie Martis announced his directorial debut with a 'dance-horror film'.
The makers have now revealed that the film is titled Rocket Gang and will be shot in real time in virtual reality (VR), like some Hollywood movies.
Student Of The Year 2 (2019) actor Aditya Seal came on board this project last September. Now it has been announced that Nikita Dutta will be cast opposite him.
Veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on Twitter and said the film would be released next year.

The motion poster released by the makers features the audio of the film’s song ‘Naachoge Toh Bachoge’. As the film has an element of horror, it seems there might be a situation where some characters will have to dance to save their lives.
Excited about the movie, Martis said in an official statement, "It’s an emotional day for me as I step into my responsibility as a filmmaker. A genre-defining film, Rocket Gang is a fun, crazy, emotional entertainer that audiences can watch as a family together. I’m super excited and pumped to use this amazing, game-changing real-time VR technology to shoot, we will also be creating a 3-dimensional virtual set to make it as realistic as possible."
After Student Of The Year 2, Seal was seen in the web-series Fittrat where he played the lead character Vir Shergill. Dutta was last seen earlier this year in a supporting role in the web movie Maska (2020), which saw Manisha Koirala in the lead. She was also seen in last year’s blockbuster Kabir Singh (2019).
