Varun Dhawan, who recently contributed to the chief minister's relief fund and the PM Cares Fund for coronavirus relief, has now decided to provide free meals to the homeless and jobless for a week. The actor will also be providing meals to doctors and healthcare workers who are working on the frontlines and risking their lives against coronavirus. All meals will be provided through the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust.
In an official statement, Dhawan said, “With each passing day of being locked down at home, my heart goes out to all those who have no home in this time of crisis. And so this week, I’ve committed to provide meals for the poor who are without homes or jobs.”

On the work front, the actor will next be seen in the remake of Coolie No. 1. The film is directed by his father and veteran filmmaker David Dhawan, who had also helmed the original in 1995, starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.
