Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri and wife, actress Pallavi Joshi are organising the The Future of Life Festival, which will explore the post-COVID-19 world. The festival, which will be held online, will also see Joshi sharing virtual space with friends Renuka Shahane, Rajeshwari Sachdeva and Durga Jasraj. All four of them have hosted Antakshari, the musical television show that used to air on Zee TV back in the 1990s.
Speaking about the reunion of all four Antakshari hosts at the festival, Joshi said, in an official statement, “Music unites souls. Acting was the primary profession of all four of us, Renuka Shahane, Durga Jasraj, Rajeshwari Sachdev and myself. Yet, it was music that brought us together and made us lifelong friends. All these three wonderful actors are not just beautiful looking people, but they have got beautiful souls.”
She added, “Rajeshwari Sachdeva is probably one of the best actors that I have ever come across. I am a big, big fan of hers. On the other hand, Renuka Shahane, I think, has the best smile in the whole of India. And as for Durga, she is simply the most amazing person. And what combines all four of us is the most whacky sense of humour that all of us share. I am eagerly looking forward to this session with my friends.”
The Future Of Life Festival will take place online on 30 April at 5pm.
